FAMILY REUNION
JUNE 7-12, 2026

This very special event is now accepting applications from people who have participated in a Miles of Music program at any point in the last 16 years (and their guests).

Here’s the background — we’ve been offered a chance to rent the island for a second week this year, and we know this may never happen again. So, after much consideration, we’ve decided against building a second Island Camp full of complex scheduling and staffing equations, and opted instead to simply release the reins and see where a lightly programmed event might take us!

Honestly, we’re conceiving of this whole week as a celebration of gratitude for the community that we’ve built together.

You might wonder,What’s happening at the Family Reunion?!”

The answer is, we don’t exactly know, and that’s part of the point! We’re inviting you — the people who have built Miles of Music in all its forms — to help us invent something new.

The Reunion is both a celebration of, and a gift to, our community. The core MoM Team will be there, for sure, and we are inviting a handful of very special guests to help us put just the right amount of intention into our work as hosts.

We know we’ll have campers who have rarely missed Island Camp, as well as people who have only experienced Miles of Music over a Zoom call, or through stories told by friends. So we’re creating a framework to make sure everyone who comes will feel invited and included. And then we’re carefully guarding the unscheduled time so you can fill it in beautiful ways that we don’t want to predict.

Things We Are Planning for Everyone:

  • Extended Coffee Shop Hours

  • Fantastic Food

  • An Entire Island to Explore

  • A Lake for Swimming

  • Cocktails & Mocktails Daily

  • Open Mics

  • Concerts (Expect to be Surprised!)

  • Like Island Camp, admission to the Family Reunion will be determined by lottery.
